Originally, Spokane Dissidents started with Amanda, a single mother with an empathetic heart, a passion for justice, and a will of steel. She brought on her best friend, Jessica, and they put together the first protest Spokane Dissidents hosted, No Kings 3, in downtown Spokane.

Once No Kings 3 was awfully close, Amanda and Jessica realized a little bit of help was needed, as it went way further than originally planned (which, thank you all.) They recruited a safety team to help out at the protest, so they had a bit more time to mingle and meet all the amazing people that came out.
